Drawing inspiration from a friend's Instagram post, as well as the fresh produce from farmers' markets, I decide to create a dessert to celebrate the season. And nothing screams of summer more than strawberries do.
A simple braised brisket, Cantonese style. This is an easy, hearty dish that is perfect for rainy days. Also a welcoming change to the typical barbecued versions one would find in the States.
The second entry to the emzee kitchen series. This is an ode to the Cantonese dim sum staple - turnip cake (蘿蔔糕), which is also commonly found on dining tables during Chinese New Year.
