The second entry to the emzee kitchen series. This is an ode to the Cantonese dim sum staple - turnip cake (蘿蔔糕), which is also commonly found on dining tables during Chinese New Year.
Drawing inspiration from a friend's Instagram post, as well as the fresh produce from farmers' markets, I decide to create a dessert to celebrate the season. And nothing screams of summer more than strawberries do.
